Road trip to Cameron Highlands

A week before Chinese New Year, hubby and I decided to visit Cameron Highlands one more time. The first time was during Christmas Day 2013,we spent 3 days after a night of stay in Kuala Lumpur.

The major difference from our last trip in CH, is that we have now our own compact car that we get to experience long road trips without the hassle of booking a bus/taxi to and from, indeed, having your own transport will give one the luxury and comfort, though I may say ours is not a luxury car( it's a compact 1.0 engine hatchback same make as a Toyota Wigo in Philippines) and we are definitely grateful for having her.
Since it was a last minute decision (and holiday season/CNY), we had a very hard time booking for a place to stay in CH, good thing that before the day ended we were able to book ourselves a room in a BnB.
Morning of January 28 at around 2 am we woke up and fixed ourselves, an hour later we're on the road heading to CH.
Yep! that early, but you can already see several cars on the road, probably on their way to their own road trip and holiday.
Hubby and I have always been fascinated of travelling to places. We do love to travel.
Back in Philippines, we did several trips. Our first local destination was Dumaluan , Bohol, all from our incentive from our Real Estate life that was 2006, then to Boracay which was 2007.

Bohol 2012
Boracay 2012

Yep! it's been 5 years since the last time I posted here ^_^

A lot of things had changed/happened during these years, in the middle of Dec 2012, we took our vows at the Transfiguration Chapel of Caleruega in Nasugbu, Batangas. And had our honeymoon in Palawan.

A big surprise came right after our wedding, we were given a chance to visit Europe, Yes Europe! It's because of my hubby's field of work, we stayed there for 2 months (63 days to be exact). We visited Milan, Rome (Vatican City), Venice and the ever dream to visit Paris France ^o^

Back to our CH trip ☺ at around 3:30 in the morning, we started our 398 km trip, ang sarap magroadtrip ng gantong oras, walang traffic, malamig. For me, it's a bit romantic hehehe wala lang, sakin lng un.
There are two routes to choose from when going to CH, the old road is Tapah 398 km from Muar where roads are narrow and a lot of sharp bends. It's a bit challenging road compared to Simpang Pulai. The latter is much better and wider than Tapah. This is the new route. We took the Tapah route going to CH then Simpang Pulai when going back to Kuala Lumpur the next day.

As I've said it's our second time here in CH so no need to hire a Tour Guide or a Tour Package. It's more of a long drive date ^o^ out of town.
The next day we went to Mid Valley Kuala Lumpur to have some Japanese Ramen. And we ate in one of our fave Japanese Restaurant in Mid Valley the Bankara Ramen . Highly recommended ☺❤ masarap ang mga food nila and friendly ang mga staff, daming Pinoy dito na nagwo-work.

And that's it! Hope you enjoy. Back to Muar ☺❤
